Hawzah News Agency- the detailed message of Head of Iran’s seminaries Ayatollah Alireza Arafi on the occasion of Research Week is as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution: “One day, the issue of Palestine was solely an issue of Islamic countries; today, the issue of Palestine and the issue of Gaza are a global issue.”
I honor the supporters of the resistance from Lebanon and Yemen; Iraq and Iran and all the free people of the world, from the oppressed who are deprived of the right to live in their homeland; A land where children and teenagers, with empty hands and weak bodies, place stones instead of beds, but they are as resilient and steadfast as a mountain, and as steadfast as a cypress, and God willing, will be proud and victorious. In the meantime, it is appropriate that, along with comprehensive spiritual and military support, a part of the resistance movement should engage their energy, thoughts, and pens in thinking and scientific and strategic productions in line with the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in order to promote the religion. This is an important mission of scholars, thinkers, and jihadi researchers who are familiar with the challenges of Islamic world.
Research is a green and fertile field that in recent years, by taking advantage of the ancient heritage of our predecessors, and with the foresight of committed managers and experts, and the perseverance and efforts of researchers and thinkers, has become a thriving trend in the field of innovation and new thinking; A clear and enlightening stream that strives to fulfill its research contribution well, based on the roadmap drawn by the higher authorities of the seminaries, in the path of realizing the ideals of the revolution and creating a new Islamic civilization.
The remarkable brilliance of the esteemed professors and students in the research programs and activities of the past years shows the fact that they have a strong motivation, a dynamic mind, and an iron will in the field of transformation and modernization. This unparalleled potential gives additional strength to the determination of all enthusiasts in the field of research to take important steps to realize the main slogan to produce Islamic and human sciences as the central slogan of this year and to increase the high status of researchers in the field of religious studies.
Now, in the light of the spread of new methods in research and investigation, the emergence of a new generation, and the development of scientific and research centers, we have witnessed remarkable advances in the field of science and knowledge, and with the inextricable connection and link between research and the issues of societies, research and investigation have gained a special importance.
Research Week provides a unique opportunity for the purposeful attention and focus of seminary researchers on current research issues so that they can become aware of the capacities, challenges, and current scientific status of Iran, and with appropriate and necessary planning and actions, while presenting their scientific and research achievements to the human society, fill the existing weaknesses and gaps and bring them to the desired state.
I congratulate you on the Research Week and appreciate the efforts of all researchers and activists in the field of research, especially the colleagues of the Research Deputy in the seminaries and research and educational units. I pray to God Almighty to fulfill this important mission for all researchers. I hope that this year; in order to promote the research efforts of distinguished professors and students based on their interests and abilities, we will witness the formation of a broad wave of scientific and research works and the maximum and high-quality participation of professors and students in various scientific festivals.
